Agartala, Nov 25 (TIWN): R P Singh, Additional DG BSF Kolkata (Eastern Command) has arrived on a three-day visit to Tripura to review the border management issues of the state according to BSF officials.Mr Singh had a meeting with Inspector General, BSF Tripura wing M F Farooqui and High officials of BSF over present security issue in the state and also about the ongoing border management works.
ADG has also inaugurated the blood donation camp at Composite Hospital at headquarters .Later, he addressed a Sainik Sammelan there and heard the grievances of all ranks of BSF engaged in operational duties.He stressed on the physical fitness of BSF personnel and asked them to be alert to avoid any untoward incident on the bordering areas of the state.
Mr Singh is scheduled to visit some critical BOPs along Tripura-Bangladesh border and interact with the troops deployed in those areas, the officials added.
