AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): With the initiative of Kolkata medicine centre a mega health camp was organised on Sunday at Jail road.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar in presence of the other dignitaries
While addressing the gathering, Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar urged to different organisation to take initiative for this kind of activities as much as possible to ensure a disease free society.
Over 200 people availed the facilities of free health check-up. Number of specialist doctors from Kolkata on general medicine, eye, ENT, child specialist and skin disease departments treated the patient accordingly.
After completion the free health check-up and tests, free medicines were provided among them.
Liver check up was also conducted. However, the doctors said that other part of the body is not something you probably think much about, but your liver is a key player in your body's digestive system. Everything you eat or drink, including medicine, passes through it. You need to treat it right so it can stay healthy and do its job.
