KAMALPUR, Nov 21 (TIWN): Congress got all set to give the CPI-M a hard fight in the ensuing Nagar Panchayat election. Even after contesting of BJP the ado for CPI-M continued as the Congress not left any stone unturned. All the candidates of Congress started vigorous campaign led by the District Congress President Manoj kanti Deb.
In such a campaign, in ward number 2, the Congress candidate Miss Sujita Sinha roamed from door to door begging votes for her today. District Congress President Manoj kanti Deb, Block Congress President Badal Sinha and other veteran leaders accompanied the candidate in her campaign. While expressing her views on the campaign, Sujita claimed to receive a warm response from the voters. Being a familiar face of the locality, she hoped to give a good fight in the den of CPIM. District Congress President Manoj kanti Deb expressed the hope that, the long under-development of the ward and the appeal of Sujita to provide development and also to fight for the local issue might have a reflection on the EVM.
However, the political analyst made it sure that, Sujita would surely give a hard fight to the CPIM candidates despite the presence of BJP and dominating position of CPIM here.
