AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): All Tripura NGOs Association on Tuesday organized a protest rally against the sentimental decision taken by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education for the madhyamik drop-out S.T. students.
Demanding to cancel the earlier advertisement, All Tripura NGO’s Association asked to make arrangements for the providing seats for exam to the drop out students at the nearby schools of the coaching centre.
It has been mentioned that if their demands are not fulfilled than they would be bound to go for a massive protest.
The protest rally has started from the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan and walked across the capital.
According to the members of the association, despite of prolonged demands the education department and the state government are not taking any initiative to help the madhyamik drop-out S.T. students.
They said that if the Government allow the student to seat for the exam in the nearby school from their coaching centre than it would have been helpful for the students and their families, as they do not have to pay any extra money for the house where they have to stay as tenant during the exam tenure.
Earlier the students could have seat for the exam in the nearby centres but after the authority took the decision that the students have to seats for the exam as per the centres whether it is near of far, it has become problem for them.
Mostly the poor families have face problem.
However, it has been mentioned that if the authority do not take any initiative for the needy students than the association would be bound to go for a massive protest in the coming days.
