CHORAIBARI, Nov 3 (TIWN): Acting on a secret information, Choraibari police contingent led by SDPO himself detained one vehicle (TR-04-A 1587) at Choraibari on the National Highway (NH-44) and recovered 320 Bags of 3,500 phensidyal and Recodex cough syrup (3500 bottles of Phensedyl and 30,00 bottles Recodex) containing 100 ml each bottle which valued Rs. 9 lakh.

Police also seized the vehicle and arrested driver – Surjyamohan Debnath(42) under Choraibari Police station. The vehicle was coming towards Agartala from Bihara of Barak Valley Assam.
