AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): Despite of placing several demands to the State Government and the Central Government by the Tripura Madrassa (SPQEM) Teachers’ Association, till day no initiatives have been taken in favour of association.
Raising question over the deprivation, it has been said that the Central Government provides many job under several projects. The Government has recruited teachers for Sarba Sikhsha Abhiyan, Rashtriya Madhamik, REGA Master and many more.
Further they questioned that if the Government can facilitate the other teachers of other sector than why not the teachers of Madrassa. Why they are being deprived of their basic rights of getting the salary and security of their job.
They further mentioned that as they are being deprived of their basic need, the future of the Madrassa teachers are heading towards darkness.
At present the way the prices of the commodities are hiking, it is getting tough for the Madrassa teachers to meet their daily needs.
However, they demanded to regularize all the Madrassa teachers according to recommendation of Madrassa Advisory Committee on December 31.
Their demands also includes 129 SPQEM Madrassa under Grand –in – aid scheme, to set up a degree level Madrassa College for higher studies of Fazil qualified students in 2015-16, to pay honorarium to Honours Graduate SPQEM teachers as per the advertisement of Government of Tripura, to improve the honorarium of Under Graduate teachers, to avail all benefits of SPQEM teachers according to that of state government employees.
