AGARTALA, Oct 28 (TIWN): Due to lack of management skill and weakness, TRTC is unavailable to overcome from its failure. As a result people are not getting the service as desired from the state government undertaking corporation. For last seven days railway booking counter in TRTC complex at Krishnagar has stopped functioning. People coming to book tickets have to face serious problems. The excuse given is that of poor internet connectivity. They blame BSNL for the present problem.BSNL unable to find the faulty for last few days. After trying at last on Wednesday the rail counter got link. But no improve in service. People who came for booking tickets are worst sufferers. After 1 pm, booking of tickets are stopped in the counter of TRTC.
Resulting in huge of rush of people. Every day around Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh tickets are sold from the counter.Besdies, the condtion of warrant counter is also not good.Army and para military personal are not getting the desired service. They have to face the problem in booking tickets. Without any prior information the counters are kept close.
Serious resentment is brewing among the people regarding the issue. However the authority is totally ignorant about the ongoing problems. Even the MD of TRTC is busy with other works, he has no time to look into the matter related to public cause. The present MD is looking after the motor vehicles. He spent more time for that. To bring back TRTC back on track, the MD should give additional time for the booking counter.
