KAMALPUR, Oct 28, (TIWN): The grip of the seasonal virus-originated fever reached to an alarming point as it took the subdivision under its grip. For last fortnight, each Primary Health Centres of the sub-division as well the Bimal Singha Memorial hospital virtually failed to accommodate the ailing patients. Nearly 300-350 patients have been admitted in the hundred seated BSM Hospital. Hence the patients had to take shelter on the floors and even in the veranda.
The situation turned so acute that, the Health department staffs had to virtually struggle hard to combat with the situation. However, according to the doctors, the fever has nothing to panic about. Such kind of virus-originated fever remained very simple during changes of seasons. And such illness would be cured by minimum medicines, claimed the doctors here.
