KAMALPUR, Oct 20 (TIWN): Festivity traditionally meant the triumph over bad practices and evils. The Goddess Durga with her family resembled the triumph of good and benevolent. And this triumph should also be against ill-practices and superstitions. And with this motto the Science and Rationalist Association of Kamalpur arranged for three days’ anti-superstitious campaign this year too. On the days of Maha Saptami, Maha Astami and Maha Nabami the campaign would continue at Kamalpur Bus Terminus.

According to Dulal Ghosh, the Secretary, the campaign would include discussions, quiz shows, anti-superstitious magic shows and a special debate on the topic “Astrology is a non-science”. He expressed his hope that, like previous years this year too people from all age group and strata would throng into their campaign.
