KAMALPUR, Oct 17, (TIWN): To ensure peaceful and smooth Puja days, Kamalpur police tightened up security in the area. OC Swapan Sengupta expressed about the security arrangements to TIWN this morning.

To control the traffic 6 bamboo gates would be erected at Rupaspur, Baligaon, Fulchari-Mayachari trijunction, Harerkhola and other two places. All the roads from bye-pass road to kamalpur-Ambassa road would be checked by no-entry points. In total 12 such points would be set. Further strict vigil would continue round the clock and with CCTV cameras.

This year 78 Pujas would be celebrated in Kamalpur Police station area. In addition 25 Pujas would be celebrated in the areas of Salema and Kachucharra police stations each.
