AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): Union Minister for Agriculture Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya here visits in Tripura on Friday, observes agricultural status of state Tripura and also motivated the farmers for using advanced technology. However his visit is scheduled as 2 day visit as he is leaving state on Oct 18.However, he met Tripura CM Manik Sarkar and received an warm welcome from him at Civil Secretariat.
Mentioning about the lack of advanced knowledge of the farmers here he urged the farmers to be modern by using the facilities available form the modern technologies. He also gave importance in variety of farming and said, farmers should not stick with just cultivating a single crop. Then he inaugurated the All India Coordinated research project (AICRP) at ICAR dept.
It is to be mentioned here that Union Minister of State for Agriculture Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya arrived in the state on Fridaymorning at 9.35. Soon after arrival, the Union Minister held a meeting with the state BJP leaders at State guest house Sonartori and discussed on several undergoing project in the state.
He also met Tripura CM & expectedly he will visit Matabari, Udaipur on Saturday.
