AGARTALA, October 12 (TIWN): Despite of several initiatives taken by the State Government, at least 7 people have died reportedly due to outbreak of malaria at Girachandra Para under Bhagirathpara ADC Village, recently.
According to the current report till August 31, Altogether 22, 562 people are attacked by the Malaria virus and a total of 16 people died. But it seems like the number death toll will rise with time.
Reportedly, several other people have fallen ill and the medical reached at the area to deal with the outbreak. It has been mentioned that the team will be staying there until the situation becomes normal.
According the last year report, it has been mentioned that a total of 51, 240 people were attacked by the Malaria virus and 96 people died.
IT is worthy to mention that in order to facilitate the people with immediate treatment, this year a total of 5, 253 Health Camp has been organized from April 1 to September 24.
Despite of several tall claims by the authority that the number of death has been decreased by 50 percent till day common people are losing their life due to the Malaria outbreak.
