AGARTALA, October 11 (TIWN): Auxilium Girls’ School on Saturday organized an annual school exhibition to showcase the varied talents and skills of the students, held in the school premises.
Bishop of Agartala, Rev. Lumen Monterio CSC, DD and Francis Kulandei, who had received Magsaysay award in 2012, remained present during the programme.
Addressing the student and the teachers in the school, Francis Kulandei said that Tripura is a rich state but the people are poor. He emphasized on protecting the richness of these natural resources.
Whole day long hundreds of parents, guardians, friends and well wishers came to the school to see the exhibition.
The 4th annual exhibition is a product of a weeklong preparation of the students during the Creativity Week seasoned with a lot of hard work, patience and perseverance as well as organizing skills and management by teachers and students together.
However, various stalls put up in the exhibition are representative of the various departments like English, Maths, Social Science, Art and Craft, Tripura Indigenous Culture, Hindi, Bengali, Value Education, IT and Media , Discover Incognito, Care of Creation, Wonders of God’s Creation, Legal Education etc.
During the programme, the theme was taken up by the senior school students displaying the Harry Potter theme in the English department. The tiny tots too did not lag behind; they too put up their stalls displaying their assignments and Class activities they participated in.
