AGARTALA, October 9 (TIWN): Minister for DoNER Dr. Jitendra Singh on Friday meets Chief Minister Manik Sarkar at Secretariat. Besides, in the afternoon DoNER Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh will address the Press personals at the Civil Secretariat.

It is to be mentioned here that DoNER Minister on Friday would inaugurate the three-day long annual conference of north eastern Diabetes Society, NEDSCON at Rabindra Bhawan.

Besides, a Scientific Session of the annual conference is expected to be organized on October 10 and 11. Health Minister Badal Chowdhury would remain present in the program as the guest of the honour.

However, Chief Secretary YP Singh, president of IDF-Dr. M Sadikot, president of Bangladesh Diabetes Association –professor AK Azad Khan, director of General of Health services, government of Sikkim- Dr. Kumar Bhandari and director of Medical education, state government-Dr. Basudev Bhattacherjee along with other dignitaries is expected to remain present in the program.
