AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): The school education department have show caused 832 teachers and staffs for negligence of duties, not arriving timely in schools and violating government orders. Out of the total show caused teachers departmental action was violated against 67 teachers and salary of 12 teachers was withheld.

According to informed sources of school department source a total 0f 14,412 surprise visit  was conducted at various schools in the state. The raid was conducted jointly by officials of school education department and district education offices.

During visit at various schools lot of drawbacks came to the notice of officials. But for minor mistake teachers and staffs was let off by final warning. The show caused  comprised of headmasters, in charge headmasters, various types of teachers and group D – employees. Among them 632 are teachers.

Report says 67 teachers are on for long unauthorized leave but monthly salary is credited to their bank accout. The school education department decided to announce all them  as missing and if required to find them out, assistance of police can also be taken.
