AGARTALA, October 7 (TIWN): Three-day long NHM Regional meeting cum workshop has been organized on Wednesday at Pragna Bhawan.
Health & Family Welfare Minister Badal Choudhury unfurled the programme in the presence of M. Nagaraju, IAS, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Director of NERRC Dr. Himanshu Bhusan and others.
During the programme, JS (Policy) has given presentation on Health System and did an open discussion. Besides, JS (RCH) Dr. Rajesh Kumar has given presentation on State specific issue and way out and had an open discussion on RMNCH+A.
However, Manoj Jhalani has also given presentation on State specific issue and way out and had an open discussion on NUHM. Joint Secretary of NCD Dharitri Panda discussed about NPSP, NPCB, NPHCE and NOHP.
Director of NHM-III Preeti Pant forwarded a linkages scheme and NE specific issues.
On the second day, JS (Policy) Manoj Jhalani is expected to give presentation on Sate specific issues and way out and will have an open discussion on Financial Management. Besieds, JS concerned will be discussing on Disease Control Program: RNTCP, NMHP, NPCDCS, and NVBDCP etc.
However, according to the schedule presentation of FMG on the topics like budgeting, Financial Planning, fund flow, banking arrangements, DOE conditionalities, fund releases etc, accounting controls and need for maintenance of proper books of accounts.
Besides, more points of FMG is expected to give presentation on the second day lie auditing, TDS/ Income Tax Internal Control and Monitoring and supervision and to discuss on the other statutory records, utilizing of funds and unspent balances and submission of UCs and low utilization of areas.
However, on the third day practical orientation on Expenditure capturing in PFMS and training will be provided on PMFS and on many other topics.
