AGARTALA, September 27 (TIWN): Despite of several tall claims by the authority that the crime against women has decreased here in Tripura, on yet another incident an unidentified burnt body of a woman has been found on Saturday from Subhashnagar Nripen Palli Area.
Overall scenario of crime against women in Tripura is increasing at an alarming rate.
However, the tiny state has been turning to a serious concern for the common people, especially for women, girls, housewives.
Getting alarm about the incident, police personals of East Women Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the spot.
The woman is yet to be identified but it is being suspected that the deceased may be of age of 25-year of age, said a police. The body has been taken for further investigation and that only they can come to a conclusion, added.
However, the residence of the area found the body in the morning and informed the police at around 11.30 am.
Of late crime against women are increasing at an alarming rate which includes torture, rape, murder and various other illicit act on the women by miscreants and sometimes by the family members themselves.
Despite of the so much of crime against women is going on here in the state the police as well as the ruling Government has been playing silent role which leads the common people to lose their confidence.
