AGARTALA / BAGMA, Sept 26 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's so called golden era turning whole state as looters paradise as CPI-M and corrupt Govt officials looting public money in every Dept. Due to water scarcity and frequent power cut agitated people of Bagma blocked NH-44 for long 2 hours on Friday.
According to the sources, due to load-shedding Bagma area’s people were suffering from water crisis since many days. Local people of that area alleged that load-shedding has made their daily lives miserable there. During the night time also people has to suffer due to power cut. At every evening load-shedding hampers the studies of the children and during the day time also load-shedding occurs frequently.
Frequent power cut has badly affected the water supplying over there and thus for many days local people are suffering due to water crisis. As a result on Friday local people of Bagma blocked the road and for 2 hours the transport movement was badly affected by that .
However Udaipur SDM Subhashish Banarjee, SDPO Ratan Das, Senior Manager of Udaipur Electric Dept. Sukharanjan Dasgupta rushed to that spot. Sukharanjan Dasgupta told the local people that the problem would be solved soon.
However, local people asked Electrical Dept. to solve the problem as soon as possible, otherwise they would go for further protest. The locals continued the road blockage from 10 am to 12 pm as a result transport movement badly affected for long 2 hours at Bagma.
