AGARTALA, Sept 24 (TIWN): Keeping in view the increasing number of accidents TNGCL (Tripura Natural Gas Company Limited) on Thursday held an awareness camp at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, hall No-2 for the auto drivers, including all persons who run their vehicles using CNG.
West Tripura District Magistrate Milind Ramteke inaugurated the programme by lighting the candle. The main lecture to the CNG users was given by Ashendra Singh, Controller of Explosive, Nagpur.
However, the most important points of his lecture was:
1. To test the CNG cylinder in the govt. affiliated testing centres.
2. The formalities before and after the testing need to be done at govt. affiliated Retro fitment centres.
3. Any kind of car repairing also is to be done govt. affiliated Retro fitment centres.
4. All repairing of CNG kit and parts (except cylinder and double) would be done under Central Motor Vehicle Act 1988 & 1989.
5. Repairing must be done on the basis of ‘CNG Cylinder Rules 2004’ and the later year’s.
