KAMALPUR, SEPTEMBER 23 (TIWN): Kamalpur Nagar Panchayat authority disclosed its account for 2013-14 & 2014-15 fiscals through the ‘Nagar Samsad’ arranged at Kamaleswari temple premise.

At primary observation a huge embezzlement  of money revealed regarding of financial allotment to NBCC. In the account book of 2009-10 fiscal the authority mentioned that an amount of 3, 49, 65, 000 rupees would be allotted to NBCC for different works. In the 2010-11 fiscal the Nagar Panchayat authority allotted 2, 62, 23, 000 rupees to NBCC for construction of 12 lanes. Again in 2011-12 fiscal an amount of 1, 22, 37, 250 rupees were allotted to NBCC for the same work. And mysteriously enough another amount of 2, 44, 00, 000 rupees were sanctioned to NBCC for the same scheme in the 2012-13 fiscal. In this way the Nagar Panchayat authority sanctioned a total amount of 6, 28, 61, 000 rupees to NBCC for construction of 12 lanes in the Nagar panchayat area, whether most of those roads became deplorable enough in just two years after completion.

Congress councillor Goutam Biswas alleged that, like this one the authority happily embezzled crores of rupees in different schemes which would be unearthed shortly.
