AGARTALA, Sept 22 (TIWN): Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Science Dr. Harsh Vardhan visited Udaipur Matabari on Tuesday morning and offered prayers to Maa Tripureswari.

Udaipur SDPO Ratan Das  welcomed him amidst of tight security at Matabari and accompanied him during his journey at Matabari. After prayers he sat in the VIP room of Matabari and had a talk with BJP members and police officials.

However it is quite surprising that DM Gomati Sonal Goel was consipous by her absense in welcoming Union Minister to Matabari.

BJP members Swapan Adhikari, Dist. president of BJP received the Minister on behalf of all BJP members. Swapan Adhikari also presented a stature of Ma Tripureswari to the Minister.

It’s to be mentioned that Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Science Dr. Harsh Vardhan came here in Tripura on Sept 22.  and inaugurated a State Biotech Hub and a Bioinformatics Centre at Tripura University. He also met Tripura CM Manik Sarkar at evening.
