AGARTALA, September 22 (TIWN): Aiming to maintain peace, stability and security at the Indo-Bangla border area of West District, section 144 has been imposed in around 500 meter area under the order of District Magistrate of West District.
Therefore, no person will be allowed to move in 500 meter area of Indo - Bangla international border since night 8 PM in the evening to 5 AM in the morning. The order will be continuing till October 3, 2015.
If anyone was found disobeying the order than strict action will be taken and will be accused under section 188 of IPC.
However the order will not be applicable to Army, Para -Military force and State Police who are engaged in maintaining law and order.
Besides, if the persons hold any permission letter from the West District Police super, Sadar and SDM of Mohonpur than no action will be taken against that person.
The Government officials who are involved in important official work, in that case also no action will be taken.
This order has been implemented by District Magistrate of West District.
