Coercion regarding puja-donation at Manik’s golden era state has become a part of Traditional Durga Puja since decades, due to which common people are suffering so far.

Durga worshipping took backseat as Puja Pandal glamour is more important so Durga Puja decorators in high demand to paint and design the Puja Pandals.

Puja pandal design is much more important to organizders in the market of competition.

And it’s due to govt.’s foolish steps as to award “Best-Puja” which is done after observing the glamour of the pandals.

 In many parts of Agartala city, club issued cash memos with the minimum requred amounts has been started to enter in households.

Puja donation amount has no limits while putting by the puja committees, alleged locals.

However,every household in Agartala are burdened by multiple clubs Puja receipts.

It’s to be mentioned that if the culture of best-durga puja awards could be reduced, then pressure for "Puja Chanda" on common people would also have come down.

All though Durga Puja brings communal harmony but due to this tradition of forced donation demand by clubs in the name of Puja pandals and statures is to destroy the peace of households at Tripura.

Traditional Bengali Durga Puja is a part of great art and culture but the tradition of hefty amount of donation need to be abolished, which is forcefully taken by the Puja Committees across State.
