UDAIPUR, September 19 (TIWN): All India Krisak Maha Sabha, Udaipur division and CPIML on Saturday placed deputation to Superintendent of Agriculture, demanding to provide compensation for the loss faced by the farmers of the sub-division due to heavy rainfall.
They said that due to heavy rainfall most of the crops were spoiled. They further mentioned that the areas which are mostly affected are- Sukhsagar Jala and Amtali Jala. These are the areas where the Amon Dhan is mostly cultivated and due to heavy rain it has been spoiled.
Therefore, they demanded to provide them compensation of fertilizers and other materials required for the cultivation.
They further demanded to make arrangements so that Government should buy the paddy in accurate rate. Therefore, it will also benefit the farmers.
However, it has been mentioned that if the demands are no fulfilled than they will be bound to go for severe protest.
