AGARTALA, September 17 (TIWN): Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan Alumni on Thursday organized a Sikhsak Sammanana Anusthan at Sanskriti Bhawan of Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan.
The programme was inaugurated by the Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty in the presence of Vice-President of NSV Alumni Er. R. K Majumdar, General Secretary of NSV Alumni Er. C. Debnath, Secretary of the Managing Committee of NSV Alumni Kalipada Chakraborti and other members of the organization.
During the programme, the students of the school have participated.
The NSV alumni was established in the year 1995 but was not registered under the Societies Act- 1860 up to 2013. However, it has been registered now.
It has been mentioned that NSV Alumni had decided to set up chapters in various cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and in many other state.
The Kolkata chapter of NSV Alumni was set up in a meeting on April 23 in the year 2012 at the Shyamasundar Jewellery and Co. in the presence of around 40 ex-students. Besides, the Delhi chapter was also formed through a meeting at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi onJanuary 17 in the year 2013.
