AGARTALA, Sept 17 (TIWN): There is acute water crisis in the GB govt. hospital. GB govt hospital is the main hospital of Tripura state. Many people who have come to GB for treatment have to buy water from outside for their daily need. Many taps and the internal water system of GB remain broken for many days.
Many of the patients don’t have the money to water from outside so they have to rely on dirty water of roadside taps. Most of the patients have been mentally broken down due to the scarcity of water.
Not only are the patients, even the health workers and official of GB hospital also affected by the scarcity of water.
Patients have pleaded to the officials of the GB to solve this problems but of no avail some work has been done but it is of no use.
Officials have installed filters for the pure drinking water but many broke down easily.
The water problem need to be solved as early as possible without it the problems of the patients will increase.
