AGARTALA, September 10 (TIWN): Two-day long orientation training module on Motivational Training of Head Teachers has been organized at the Pragna Bhawan on Wednesday.
The initiative has been taken by the State Council of Educational Research and Training.
It has been mentioned that this initiatives will give the head teachers better understanding on the best motivational strategies to apply in their institutions.
Therefore, the training for the head teachers on motivational strategies approaches to equip them with skills and knowledge needed in their managerial role as evidenced by low mean score response on their responsibility in helping teachers to get satisfaction from the profession and to fulfil their needs and objectives.
During the programme, Santanu Bhattacharjee, IASE and IASE Abhijit Chanda discussed about the Preliminary Concept of Motivation in the beginning. On the second half of the programme, they have discussed about the factors affecting motivation.
Later on, they spoke about the different strategies to motivate the teachers.
On the second day of the programme, the dignitaries will be discussing on the different strategies to motivate the teachers and on the second phase of the programme, they will discuss on role of Head Teachers and administrators to motivate the school teaching faculties and students.
Later, the programme will conclude with an interactive session.
