UDAIPUR / AGARTALA, September 10 (TIWN): Single lane NH-44, a part of Tripura’s pathetic Transport system once again risking lives, and injured many when a bus during its journey towards Udaipur to Amarpur was luckily saved from an hazardous accident, though many had been injured inside the bus.It’s to be mentioned that following the deplorable condition of National Highway, heavy resentments are prevailing among the residents. Opposition are voicing everyday, medias are writing continuously, but Govt,'s deaf and blind attitude has hit state hard.Talking to TIWN, State BJP Chief Sudhindra Dasgupta said , " whether Manik is busy to make Agartala a smart city the people around the whole state is suffering due to the deplorable condition of roads”. Not only at Udaipur, at North also its same, said Sudhindra.The negligence of State Government in proper construction of roads are being faced by people everyday. The roads are filled with stone chips and cements, which appears as a leading cause of deadly accidents

The only thing visible on the road is ditches and pot holes resulting to accidents and inconvenience in travelling.

The poor road conditions have increased the vehicle maintenance costs vehicles as compared to their counterparts at Udaipur which resulted in the cause of accident.
