AGARTALA, September 10 (TIWN): The 4rth Generic Medicine Center is to be opened on September 11 at Dhalai Dist.’s Kulai Hospital, H S Debnath, Chairman of Tripura Markfed told TIWN on Wednesday.

This will be the 4rth Generic Medicine centre at Tripura.

Talking to H S Debnath he said that this Generic Medicine centre will help the poor people to get medicine at low price, whether the quality will also be same there within that medicine.

He further said although they may not be associated with a particular company, generic drugs are abide by the rules and regulations of the govt.

Detaling about the good effects of Generic Medicine he said, “When generic products become available, the market competition often leads to lower the prices”.

Khagendra Jamatia, Minister of Co-operation and fisheries will inaugurate the centre, said Debnath.
