AGARTALA, September 6 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the ensuing 2018 election a workers convention of block Congress committee of 18th constituency of Surjyamaninagar held at Amtali on Sunday.

Addressing the programme, opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman urged the workers to work satisfactorily and there should be no deficiency from the party side for the upcoming 2018 election.
He said that the workers should concentrate on covering all the remaining works and to work united to strengthen the party.The members should forget all kind of difference among themselves and to move forward to strengthen the party.
He further said that the party should always be there with the people and should always think about te betterment of the people. The main aim of the party should be the victory of the Congress party.
The state government is dipped into corruption. The victory of Congress would surely be a lesson to them, added.The grass root level workers would have to give due respect and responsibility to revamp the organization, said Barman.
However, unless the grass root level workers are encouraged and enthused to work for the party, the organization cannot be made strong.
The programme was inaugurated by MLA Dilip Sarkar in the presence of MLA Jitendra Chandra Sarkar, Block congress President Abhijit Deb and others.
