UDAIPUR, August 26 (TIWN): In order to ensure better health facility near the Gatalong area under Udaipur, spending over Rs 3 lakh MLA Madhav Saha deployed an Ambulance which remained unused for prolonged 2 years.
The Ambulance bearing the registration number TR-03-1071 has been lying unused at the Udaipur-Sabroom NH-44 road. It was deployed to the Matabari Tarun Shanga Club to facilate the locals with the service.
Locals complained that the ambulance has been getting damage by lying under the scorching sun and heavy rain.
They further said that as the hospital is four kilometres away from the area, the people have to suffer due to no ambulance facility in the area.
According to the locals, if the ambulance would have been working properly then they could have got the benefits of it.
‘If the ambulance service has been resumed in the area than it would have been helpful for us’, said Locals.
The local said that the ambulance is getting damaged by remaining unused. Further, they said that if the service has been resumed than it would have helped the poor people in the area.
