Udaipur, August 23 (TIWN): Increasing crime rate in Lake City Udaipur has created a turmoil amongst the people over there. From women to children all are the victims of illegal activities,and as a result tension prevails in the city.

On August 21, a single person raped 3 minor girls, another FIR has been launched for this very reason, so in total 4 rape cases have been blusted in a single day.On this same day from a vehical from on the way NH-44, a huge amount of contraband items have been recovered by SDPO Ratan Das, after getting informed by the locals.

The contrabnd items had been carrying through Harinarayan Transport which was going to Santir Bazar at early morning. These items were to be delivered a Shankar Medical hall, Santir Bazar. Locals saw the vehical full of bottles and suspected for carrying some illegal item. Soon they stop the vehical and informed the police. R.K. Pur Police then came to the spot and arrested the person.

Police also on arrested Bijendra Reang for raping three minors in a day on August 16 at Maida Bari area of Dataram under Udaipur sub-division. Reang had rapped three minor in a day on August 16. The police has identified the minors belonging the age bar of 2-year old, 6-year and 7-year old.

At another place namely Kakrabon, an 18-year old had rapped a minor on August 17, and the Kakrabon police has successfully managed to arrest the rape accused on Thursday.Panic gripped over Udaipur subdivision after the repeated incident of rape over the minors.
