AGARTALA, August 22 (TIWN): One day long workshop on present status, Co-operation and the development of the various Co-operation associations under Gomati District will be organized on August 28 at Udaipur Town Hall.

The programme will be organized with the joint initiatives of the Co-operation Department, Merger Associations and with the support of the Gomati District Council.

At the programme, Co-operation Minister Khagendra Jamatia is expected to remain present as the Chief Guest of the programme.

Besides, Chairperson of Udaipur Municipal Council Monika Das, Chairman of Matabari Panchayat Samiti Rekharani Majumder, Chairman of Tepania Panchayet Samiti Bijan Chakraborty, Chairman of Kakrabon Panchayat Samiti Suniti Roy and Amarpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Rajib Das.

Tripura State Co-operation Union Chairman Nitai Lal Biswas, President of Tripura Markfed Sunil Sengupta, Deputy Sabadhipati of Gomati District Council Dinabondhu Das will remain present at the programme.

Besides, Professor of Netaji Subhash College Dr. Sanjay Roy will also be present at the programme.

However, the programme will be presided over by Gomati District Council Sabadhipati Suniti Saha.
