AGARTALA, August 21 (TIWN): In a recent report from Civil Aviation, it’s been informed that SpiceJet is to start 2 more flights here in the state, from the month of October. On October 15 these 2 flights will kick start from Agartala to Kolkata.

This 2 Jet flights will fly on the way from Kolkata to Agartala and Agartala to Kolkata, which has been announced on Wednesday morning. However immidiately after the announcement booking of tickets have been started.

At present, in total 185 seated flight is in afoot, now more 2 flights will be added.Despite, the state govt. as vet receive 18 % of additional sales tax, regarding which Airlienes expressed displeasure often, still Jet Airline is keen to start 2 new flights here.

It’s to be mentioned that Air India is also to start of 146 seated flight from the Month of October, in Agartala to klokata route, although this has not come as a govt. notice yet now. If it’s started it will be travelled during night time, says report.

Spice Jet’s one flight also will be scheduled  during the night time. As a result, there will be two flights on the night time in a same route.

It’s worthy to mention here that after the 2 flights’ will be started, the number of flights in Agartala Airport (from Agartala to Kolkata) from 6 would stand as 9. So the crisis of ticket would be diminished.

 NE state Tripura is fully dependent upon air-ways, as the govt. is failed to connect the state with proper rail-way connectivity yet today. So naturally people are happy in the hope, if these additional flights would diminish the flight fare.
