AGARTALA, August 19 (TIWN): The Tripura cabinet on Tuesday decided to re-appoint at least 4 government medicos under the state health department, said Health Minister Badal Choudhury. Besides, the state National Highway Chief Engineer Shukumal Bhattacharjee’s service has been extended to 1 year more.
Talking to the media persons at civil secretariat after the cabinet meeting Minister Badal Choudhury said that the cabinet had created 225 posts for Assistant Agriculture and decided to fill the 5 vacant posts for SI under the state Excise Department.
The cabinet on Tuesday had also decided to fill 5 vacant posts under Urban Development Department, Choudhury told reporters.
He also informed that 12 posts have been created by the cabinet to recruit the candidates at state Drug Testing Laboratory with an aim to expedite the work.
Besides, the cabinet on Tuesday had amended the State Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Act 2012, Choudhury told reporters.
