SABROOM, August 19 (TIWN): Unrest situation has been prevailing among the common people of Sabroom with another rape incident of a minor girl.

The incident took place on Tuesday, at around 12.30 pm at East Harina area, when a 15-year-old accused Arup Das, took the girl to his home to show her cartoon on TV. With this excuse he took her to his house and raped her.

The girl's parents came to know about the incident after she complained of pains within her, after returning home, following which her mother informed police and accordingly an FIR had been launched against Arup Das with Sabroom Police Station.

Data released by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) also tell that every second day a woman is raped in Tripura and now-a-days minor girls’ rape have become an everyday issue.
