KAMALPUR, August 18 (TIWN): In a height of mismanagement by State's every Department under CM Manik Sarkar's 'golden rule', A bizarre decision of PWD(R&B) Salema subdivision created much suffering for the commuters on Kamalpur-Ambassa road as the authority suddenly broke the bailey bridge at Rakhaltali this morning. As a result, the vehicular movement ceased and people had to cross the place through the flowing rivulet.This morning around 10 am, the Rakhaltali bailey bridge got suddenly being dismantled by the PWD(R&B) authority for renovation. But as the matter was not informed to general public hence the people and vehicles continued to arrive at the bridge on both ends. Besides, today being the market day of Kulai people and businessmen had a natural rush to that market. But the vehicle could not cross that bridge and hence people with their luggage had to cross the place through the rivulet. One Subir Das, an engineer of PWD(R&B) Salema sub-division reluctantly said that, the matter was decided yesterday and people had to suffer a bit for betterment. But why no alternative path was provided for people remained unanswered. Even though Chief Minister and his subordinates can’t stop falsifying Tripura Govt’s glorious achievements in every sector but the fact is corruption ridden Govt’s every Dept suffering from severe mismanagement and fund looting.
