SABROOM, Aug 16 (TIWN): The National Flag has been seen flying half mast at the office complex of the AWC Center at Damdama Ward No.1 under Sabroom Nagarpanchayat even after 7 pm on Independence day.

At once Local people informed Sabroom Police .The Sabroom police immediately rushed to the AWC Center and National Flag had been down after dusk and locked the AWC center.

Police have registered a case (No. 668/15) under Section 2 of the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act, 1971.

Meanwhile, AWC Incharge has admitted to TIWN here that she had no knowledge regarding any restriction on the flying of the National Flag after dusk.
