ONGC drilled 199 wells in Tripura

AGARTALA, August 13 (TIWN): When the successful rate of ONGC in drilling gas in India stand at 30 percent, Tripura alone stands at 44 percent, said Industries & Commerce minister Tapan Chakratborty.He further said that so far data revealed till 30 June, ONGC has drilled 199 well in the entire state. Among the 199 wells dug in the state, 164 are exploratory, 35 are development well, 91 well went waste and gas was found from 88 well, added Chakraborty.The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) will be drilling a phenomenal 39 exploratory wells and 23 developments well in the coming 5 years, which includes 0.4 million metric standard cubic meter every day.
