KAMALPUR, August 12 (TIWN): Once upon a time vehicles plied on the bye-pass road due to one-way traffic. Then two traffic barricades were set in front of the Govt. English medium school for the protection of the students and to make the vehicles cross the school in speed limit. But this system became obsolete almost six months ago.
At present the vehicles used to ply on the Kamalpur-Ambassa road for both entering and exiting the town. But still those barricades left in front of the school. Often the barricades got found in the roadside paddy fields.
The iron barricades got rusted in several parts. But the authority had no urgency or attitude to preserve the barricades which cost a huge amount to make. And hence those barricades remained a show of irresponsibility and negligence from the part of the police.
