KAMALPUR, August 12 (TIWN): In a massive jolt to the staggering Congress party in the State a veteran leader and sincere worker of the party in Dhalai district Durjoy Chakraborty breathed his last today.

 Around 9 am this morning he suddenly felt an acute pain in his heart. The family members rushed him to the District hospital. There he breathed his last.

Receiving the news District Congress President and former MLA Manoj kanti Deb and other leaders rushed to his house at Kulai.

Many workers and supporters also rushed to his house. There Manoj Deb paid last tribute with the party flag to the leader. Mr. Deb described his demise as a severe jolt for the party.
