AGARTALA, August 12 (TIWN): All India Democratic Women’s Association Dukli Divisional Committee staged rally in front of the Agartala Municipality Corporation on Tuesday and placed deputation to Mayor Dr. Prafullajit Sinha.
They demanded to provide job card under TUAP to all the poor families of the ward area and to arrange 100 days of work for them. They also demanded to pay them Rs. 200 as wages.
To provide PNG at the Municipal area, to bring the poor families under Health Insurance scheme and all kinds of social allotment, demanded.
They further asked to open a Pharmacy in the Primary Health Centre of the ward area.
Besides, they have demanded to provide clean drinking water at the Municipal Area and to make arrangements for the children’s park in the area.
They also demanded to improve the communication system in the Municipal area and improve the traffic system in the city.
The area where there are no electric poles, the concern department should put pole.
