AGARTALA, August 11 (TIWN): To mark the celebration of the Independence Day, the prisoners will also be remaining a part of the programmed.

On the day will be celebrated for continues five days, said an official on Monday. The pre-independence programmed would begin from August 10.

On the auspicious occasion of the celebration, fruits and sweets will be distributed among the various patients of the hospital, resident of Abhoy Ashram of Gokulnagar and the prisoners of Bishalgarh Central Jail.

Besides, several programmes have been have been taken with the initiatives of the administration of the Bishalgarh sub-division to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Independence Day.     

The main programme of the celebration would be observed at the Sub-divisional Magistrate office.

To mark the celebration, the administration of the sub-division has decided to conduct various competitions.

However, on the Independence Day the flag will be hosted at Bishalgarh sub-division at around 9 am whereas in the other non-government organization the flag will be hosted at around 7am.
