AGARTALA, August 9 (TIWN): On the occasion of the 4th State Conference of Tripura Blind Development Society, on Sunday Chief Minister Manik Sarkar urged to provide and promote welfare, support and advocacy services for blind people at Vivekananda Auditorium of Umakanta School.
He further urged to grant financial assistance to people those are blind and needy. Besides, he also asked to provide services to enhance the quality of life of blind people.
While addressing the programme, he also asked to manage finances for the longevity of service provision and he said that the state government will also raise its helping hand for the betterment of the blind people.
The Tripura Blind Development Society is to promote and assist our members in maintaining their independence and individual lifestyles.
The Tripura Blind Development Society also help to improve the lives of people who are blind through advocacy, education, transport, financial assistance, accommodation, social support and many other programs that support member’s dignity, independence and quality of life.
