UDAIPUR, August 9 (TIWN): Udaipur sub-division women police on Saturday evening arrested a 38-year old accused after he has tried to rape a 26-year old married woman on Friday.

The police on Sunday produce the accused before the chief judicial magistrate court. The accused was indentified Kamal Debnath (38), Son of Shashi Mohan Debnath. He is professionally a daily laborer and a resident of Moharani Choyegoriya Village.

According to the 26-year house wife, the accused attacked her when she went outside the house for natural call on Friday at around 11 pm in the night. The accused is her neighbor.

The accused grabbed her from backside and when she started to scream the locals of the area assembled. Getting alarm about the coming of locals, the accused managed to flee from the area.

The 26-year house wife was married 7 months before. Her husband was a daily laborer.

After the incident, the victim has registered complaint against the accused to the women police station of the Udaipur.

The police have managed to arrest the accused on Saturday. 

The local allegedly complained that the accused Kamal Debnath has been engaged in many other crime.

However, on Sunday the police produced the accused before the court.
