KAMALPUR, August 9 (TIWN): The State government on one hand claims of being unique in the country in proper utilization and management of the property and resources available even amidst the central deprivation and on the contrary this left property to decay.

This controversial stand of the government got revealed regarding the old office of the Assistant Engineer of DWS department, the then Public Health Engineering.

More than two decades ago, the unique government of our state changed the name of the erstwhile Public Health Engineering to Drinking Water and Sanitation department.

Along with the other parts of the State, the department got new location and new office building. Naturally, the old office near Kamalpur English Govt. English Medium School adjacent to the stadium left useless.

Till then the office left under lock and key. It still had some important materials in it as claimed a source close to it. Now, neither the department got using the office or providing it to someone on lease or agreement so that the department might earn revenue.

Probably, the golden administration prefers to misuse and demolish than to use. Everything is really unique!
