KAMALPUR, Aug 6 (TIWN): When the doctors got often blamed for unruly behavior and cutting pockets of patients and patient-parties around the state, in such a time a Dentist of GBP Hospital, Dr. Sanjib kumar Das played a good Samaritan by restoring a poor girl of the sub-division to normalcy. The family of the poor girl got thrilled and overwhelmed by the humanity and service of that doctor.

The daughter of Rathindra Chakraborty and Suprava Chakraborty namely Supriya Chakraborty of Mayachari area of this sub-division had been suffering from gum problem for last one year. Her gums got swollen and infected with severe pain.

 In April she first met the dentist of BSM Hospital Kamalpur who advised her to go to Agartala. There she went to Dr. Sanjib Kumar Das and he after examining declared the infection dangerous and prescribed for medicine. Then the family hailed to Silchar.

 There the doctors also prescribed the same treatment and estimated the cost to be not less than 2, 00, 000 rupees. But as both her parents earn their living as day-laborers it became simply impossible for them. Then they once again consulted with Dr. Das. He conducted her operation on 9^th July last with no extra cost. Not only had this he provided the poor girl with some valuable medicines. And still Dr. Das continuing treatment and check-up of the girl.

The family got overwhelmed with this sheer example of humanity as the doctor restored the girl to normalcy.
