KAMALPUR, August 3 (TIWN): The Nagar Panchayat authority here at Kamalpur often proclaimed of logic, rationality and scientific thinking. They also claimed and advocated for cleaner and greener surrounding and town. But the garbage management of the Nagar Panchayat authority proved complete controversy of the authority in works and words.

In the Nagar Panchayat area there already existed a dumping station at Harerkhola and there also had many vehicles for cleaning and transportation of garbage.

But mysteriously, during some days the garbage got accumulated near the crematorium near the Dhalai river. This made the area unhygienic and bad odor spread into the entire area. But the authority remained reluctant enough to remedy the prevailing situation.
