AGARTALA, August 2 (TIWN): Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanulal Saha inaugurated an Advertisement Management Software on Saturday at the Head Office of ICA department.

The software with a Single Window System of the will enable the Information and Cultural Affairs Department to send all kind of advertisements to the newspapers offices through e-mails, said an official.

Addressing the programme, Minister Bhanulal Saha urged the concern authority of the department to send all the government press releases to the media houses through e-mails from August 14. The department should be more endeavouring, added.

Appreciating the initiatives taken by the department, Secretary of ICA Department Santanu Das expressed pleased about the introduction of the Advertisement Management Software.

He also asked the department to focus on the distribution of Press Release to te media house through e-mails.

In order to inform the present crowd in the programme, in-charge officer of ICA Debashish Lodh discussed about the newly launched software in details. Joint Director of ICA department T. K Debbarma, Deputy Director Soumen Laskar, Assistant Director Kumar Sinha and others were present at the programme.

However, Director of the Department Santanu Debbarma delivered the welcome speech.
