KAMALPUR, Aug 1 (TIWN): The reluctance of the PWD(R&B) authority turned the movement painful and damaging here at Kamalpur. Not only the Kamalpur-Ambassa road but almost all the roads including the Fulchari-Kamalpur bye-pass road also became a nightmare for the pedestrians and vehicle riders.

The roads here always came under the scanner for poor quality works and irresponsibility from the part of the authority.

As a result, often the roads became a painful experience within three to four months of metalling carpeting. And then the authority renovate the roads temporarily twice or thrice in a year.

 In this saga the PWD Kamalpur division authority renovated the bye-pass road almost five months ago. But just after the renovation once again the road filled with ditches. The pedestrians and vehicle riders suffered greatly due to the ditches.

Moreover, the fire service also suffered due to the bad condition of the road. But the PWD(R&B) authority remained reluctant enough about the condition.
